Having written the best selling India’s first ever city-restaurant guide to Mumbai in 1997, Nightlife guide to Mumbai followed by the City restaurant guide to Pune 4 years later. The world’s first vegetarian guide to Paris has been making global waves as has her vegetarian cookbook Around the world in 80 plates. Rashmi continues to be a regular food columnist with The Times of India, Bombay Times and Chennai Times. She also writes regularly for many national and international magazines. She wrote regular weekly food columns for The Hindu (7years) It is for her extraordinarily popular Good Food Guide that she is most celebrated (India’s first-ever city–restaurant guide). This handy, first-of-its-kind, insider’s guide to good food established Singh as the nation’s most clued-in commentator on all things edible.

In the field of food…Rashmi has done multiple kinds of work…from setting up a cooking academy to a gourmet atore.

She has been on editorial boards of several magazines too.
