Recipe: Chicken Crunchies

Ingredients For Short Crust Pastry

140gms. Flour

1\4 tsp. Salt

75 gms. Butter

2-3 tbsp. ice cold water

For Filling

200 gms Chicken, cooked

250 gms. Short crust pastry

1 tbsp. Tomato ketchup

1 tbsp. Mayonnaise

A few drops Worcestershire sauce

As required Mustard powder

As required Salt and black pepper

For deep frying Oil

Method For Short Crust Pastry

Sieve flour and salt together.

Cut the butter into small pieces and rub into the flour, using your finger tips till it resembles bread

crumbs.

Sprinkle water evenly and using a palette knife mix the dough lightly till it forms large lumps.

Gather the lumps together and form into one large lump. Knead very lightly. Chill for 30 minutes

before use.
